Celebrating 25 years of Great British Puddings!

We have been celebrating The Pudding Club’s 25th Anniversary throughout 2010 in a variety of ways and still have a number of events planned for you to enjoy, including the special two night Silver Anniversary Pudding Club Break and Silver Sunday Offers, but the best is yet to come!

Events will reach a climax in November with The Big Celebration Weekend on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th November. There is a special Pudding Club meeting on each evening when the Town Crier will be here to announce the arrival of guests and puddings! Both evenings will begin with Buck’s Fizz and end with a vote for the Champion Pudding of 25 years with some surprises in between! These meetings are sure to be a lot of fun, places are limited to residents only, so don’t delay, make sure you book early. Rooms from £206 including The Pudding Club, bed and breakfast.

Throughout November come and stay on our Make November Special offer, stay overnight from Monday to Thursday when 25% will be taken off your bed and breakfast bill! Enjoy a three course dinner for a celebratory £25! There will be a limited number of rooms on this offer, so don’t delay!

Celebratory Pudding Club meetings with even more fun and plenty of custard will take place on Friday 5th and 19th, Saturday 20th and Friday 26th November, whilst we have a 1980’s themed Pudding Club meeting on Saturday 6th November. Come and try the puddings we loved to hate from the 80’s, Black Forest Gateaux, Lemon Cheesecake and the ones we loved, including the Chairman’s favourite – treacle Sponge Pudding with custard. Main courses will sound familiar too, Chicken a la King and Beef Bourguignon. 80’s dress is optional although there will be a prize for the most authentic, so dig out those vintage items! Rates from £206 per double/twin room, per night, including The Pudding Club meeting, bed and breakfast.

The Silver Celebratory Weekends stay two nights including a Friday and attend a Pudding Club meeting, dinner on the other night in the restaurant and breakfast and take away an anniversary jute bag filled with an anniversary apron, 3 family sized puddings and a bottle of pudding wine! Rates from £210 per room, per night.

Make your Mondays golden and stay any Sunday night from just £75 per person sharing a twin/double room and enjoy either Sunday lunch or dinner and breakfast.

Why not round off the year and join us on Saturday 18th December for the 1980’s Christmas Party Night. The menu will feature some classic 80’s dishes and the music will include some 80’s classics too. From £92 per person, including Christmas dinner, dancing until the early hours and overnight accommodation sharing a double/twin room and breakfast.
