Walking at Three Ways House Hotel

Three Ways House Hotel is a great base for walking in the Cotswolds. We can help you to discover this beautiful part of England, whatever your ability or needs. Stay with us and walk independently, with friends, or join us on one of our great Cotswold Walking Weekends. If you have a well behaved dog, then they’re welcome too.

We have a range of local guide books and maps, and as keen walkers ourselves can offer great tips and local advice to really make your walk interesting. We can also recommend the best lunch stops, or supply a made–to–order packed lunch.

If the weather turns you can rest assured that your clothes will be drying out nicely whilst you enjoy a delicious supper and well deserved drink in front of an open fire.

Cotswold Walking Weekends

Our Cotswold Walking Weekends are led by experienced Cotswold Wardens, all of whom have a wealth of local knowledge, which they will readily share with you.

The walks vary in length, taking in some undulating and rough ground, but all are suitable for the moderately fit. Saturday’s walk is usually 11–12 miles, whilst Sunday’s is approximately 8 miles – enabling you to return to the hotel for departure by mid or late afternoon.

Walks from Three Ways House would typically include the beautiful stretch up to Kiftsgate Court and Hidcote Manor, walking on up to Lark Stoke where the views are stunning, through to the Foxcote Estate and back to Mickleton through Hidcote Boyce and down Bakers Hill.

“We have just returned from a Pudding and walking weekend at your hotel and would like to say how much we enjoyed the whole proceeding. We were most impressed with the level of customer service from your staff and attention to detail all round. Our enjoyment of the two walks was greatly enhance by an excellent leader, and the soup and facilities provided at your own residence was an added bonus. You will no doubt be seeing us again with other walking friends.”
Mrs Dawson, Milton Keynes
